Story

I've been saying for years that I could never run a marathon - that I wouldn't have the fitness, stamina, patience or sheer mental strength to run more than 100m without chasing a ball - but I recently decided that 2012 will be a year for doing things I never thought I could do.

On 22nd April, I am going to be running the London Marathon and, now that I'm committed, I'm doing it properly. I'm following a strict regime, watching inspirational videos on Youtube and I'm already feeling comfortable over longer distances. I'm not making any world-beating time projections yet, my current aim is to survive it.

Any support will be wholeheartedly appreciated.
