Skipton Food Bank, established in 2011 works with local support agencies to supply food parcels and support those who are struggling to feed themselves and their families. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Story

Skipton Food Bank provides food parcels to people across Craven - the rural area in which I live. 19% of children live in poverty, which is obscured by the rural ideal promoted by tourism. The food bank helps all in my local community at difficult times. I would like to support it through your enjoyment of my art.

The food bank is very small charity - part of Skipton Baptist Church - and is run by volunteers, with a part-time paid manager. The pandemic has made their vital work even more important and challenging. Please give what ever you can afford to help.
