Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Will and I are walking round the Isle of Wight in 3 days starting on Saturday, 24th May to raise money and awareness of bowel cancer which has had a major impact on our family.  Both my grandfather and uncle died from the disease and my sister Louise was diagnosed two years ago. After a year of radiotherapy, surgery and chemotherapy she received the all clear last year.  Sadly, her daughter, my niece Emily, has also recently been diagnosed and is currently undergoing chemotherapy while being a Mum to a demanding one year old, Henry.

Whilst not being the sportiest of people, I wanted to do something to support them and others who are affected by this disease.  So 70 miles of walking round a beautiful coastline sounded like a good option.  I do hope that you will support us.
