My wife of 31 years died on Monday (Aug 7th) of a rare and aggressive cancer: Sarcoma.   However, cases of this are now on the rise.    She died after fighting for three long and painful years.    Her wish was always to try and help others.     As she was ultimately unable to save herself, her primary wish was to leave her body for further research into cancer.    I know that it would also be of considerable satisfaction to her if she thought that, through her death, she might also be able to raise a little something for research.  It is only through such that a cure might ultimately be found.
