Story
It's that time of year again!
Oscar Abercombie is now 5 years old, has started school, rides his bicycle and has taken up horse riding. Not bad considering he wasn't expected to be able to walk or feed himself.
Oscar's progress is due in no small part to the dedication of the staff at the Neonatal Unit of Heartlands Hospital without whom he would certainly not be here today. Their care, attention and skills come at a cost which is only partially met by the NHS. The neonatal unit is usually running at capacity and is always in need of more equipment and funding so here we are, walking from Heartlands Hospital to Solihull Hospital to raise a bit more much needed money. This will be the first year that Oscar and his big sister Saffron (age 7) participate so we wish them luck on their 7 mile trek.
If you feel able to make a donation, no matter how large or small, it will be much appreciated.
Many thanks.
