Hey friends, 

Not too long ago, my sweet friend Tabi got diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer, which was devastating news, as you can imagine. Now, she's an absolute trooper, and her and her husband Beni are full of faith that they're going to beat this thing, as am I!!

You never quite understand the impact of such news until it happens to someone dear to you. And you never quite appreciate enough the work of charities such as Breast Cancer Now (who are working hard in the research field) until it directly affects your friends. 

So Beni, Tabi's husband decided to run the Great North Run to support the work of Breast Cancer Now, and a few of us decided to join in and stand with them in this! Any donation, big or small, is very much appreciated, and together we can help Breast Cancer Now reach their goal that EVERYONE who develops breast cancer beats it and lives, by 2050. 

We certainly believe that will be Tabi's story, and many other ladies' stories. I also hope that I personally survive a half marathon (ha!) but there's enough to motivate me to do this.
