I am running the Sheffield Half Marathon to raise money for Macmillan, who were a wonderful support to my sister Jenny, who died of cancer, aged just 27, in 2003.

It is quite poignant that the race is being held 7 years to the day that Jenny lost her battle to cancer,  so I think that it's going to be a very emotional race for me, but something that I am really looking forward to doing and a very fitting tribute to her, and to the Macmillan nurses who helped look after her.
