Fundraising for One Can Make A Difference

Story

Hi Everybody! I'm raising money for Action Duchenne by taking part in the ‘I'm a Princess, Get Me Out of Here!’ experience.

We’ll be taking on some really tough challenges, including zip wires, an army assault course and lots of other Krypton Factor type problem solving.

This is a real challange for me personally as the last time I did any outdoor pursuits I was 13 at school camp; as you can imagine I don't relish the thought of being covered in mud climbing down a cliff!

Raising money for Action Duchenne is very personal to me, as my best friend's son Joey was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy 4 years ago.

Joey is a wonderful little boy and we must find a cure for him and all the boys who suffer from this heartbreaking condition.

One Can Make A Difference is here to raise awareness and funds towards research and improving lives of children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The belief of this campaign is that you as ONE, can make a difference, by simply giving a donation as little as ONE pound a month and getting another ONE person to do the same as you, proving that ONE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE to the thousands of young children with this heartbreaking disease.
