Hello, first off thankyou for visiting my page!

My name is Amy Winship and I'm 18.

I was extremely lucky this year to be offered a place at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) to study on their Technical Theatre and Stage Management course (TTSM). I fell in love with the art of Stage Management at the age of 14 when working on a school production and realising it was the most enjoyable thing I had taken part in at school.

Since I realised I looked into how I could continue this enjoyment for the rest of my life hopefully and that is when trawling the internet at 15 for drama schools I came across RADA. I visited the open day that year and every year since. 

At school I was involved in everything drama and theatre related. I did every production I could and was awarded the Drama Cup three times (for service to drama at my school) and then the Drama Scholarship in sixth form. I took it for GCSE where I got an A and Alevel.

When in sixthform I chose to audition for the National Youth Theatre and was lucky enough to gain a place on there 2012 summer course for Stage Management. There I fell in love with theatre all over again and it reaffirmed how great my desire to go and study Stage Management is. 

The same year and just a few months later I applied to three drama schools. These drama schools are RADA, LAMDA and Guildhall, I was blessed enough to get a offer from all three and without any doubt I chose RADA. I was extremely lucky and now just have to cover the costs of going!

I have got my student finance sorted for the two years but the cost of the accomodation is more than my student finance and thats the gap I need to bridge along with living costs! I have raised about 200 already and I need 600 more to cover the cost of accomodation and then all I will need to raise is money to live off.

Sponsors for students at RADA recieve student progress reports and donations over £500 recieve credit in all relevant RADA publications and invitations to to attend the student productions each term.
