Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Following my Mum's sudden death to Vasculitis on 9th October 2014, I have decided, with the help of family members (Steve, Becky and Alex), to race the British Vitality 10k run in London on 12th July 2015 to raise much needed awareness of this little known disease.

Vasculitis, where your immune system attacks your blood vessels by mistake, is difficult to identify but if spotted early it can be treated and sufferers can go on to lead a normal life. Unfortunately in Mum's case it was not detected or treated early enough; so through fundraising we are hoping to raise awareness and further improve research.

It has been an incredibly difficult time as Mum was a massive part of our lives and is greatly missed. This event is a chance for us to do something positive and help fight Vasculitis, so other families don't have to go through the same pain and suffering.

Please help us to continue Mum's legacy by sponsoring us all for this worthy cause that is close to our hearts.
