As you all know I lost my dad and sister-in-law to cancer and although it was a terrible time for all, the care and support they received was incredible. To repay this kindness, I'm running the London Marathon for Hospice UK and hope to help raise funds for such a worthwhile cause.

Hospice UK believes that everyone matters throughout their life right up until they die, and that no one should die in avoidable pain or suffering. Their aim is to make sure that everyone with a life limiting or terminal condition gets the very best care, and hospices are critical to achieving this.

My training has started. So far I have done a number of 5k's, a 10k, a 10miler and most recently a half marathon (the less said about the last one the better)!

I've set myself a huge challenge, it is going to be very difficult there is no denying that, but your support will make it so much easier!
