We provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am going to be running the Reading Half Marathon in April 2012 (eek!). This is going to be quite a challenge for me as I am new to running, I am doing this to raise money for Dementia UK, a fantastic charity that supports the families of those suffering with dementia as well as the individuals themselves. I have chosen this charity as sadly I lost my dear Grandad Bill in 2011, seeing the way that he suffered and how it impacted the family, especially my Nan was very sad and really opened my eyes to this disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now - all donations will be massively appreciated.
