SAVE OUR SUFFOLK ESTUARY
The centuries old landscape of the Alde and Ore Estuary is under threat from flooding. All this is at serious risk:
• our homes, shops, historic sites and Snape Maltings
• local businesses in tourism, leisure and the arts generating over £100 million a year
• a mosaic of internationally protected wildlife habitats and nature reserves
• sailing, fishing and 101 kilometres of public and permissive footpaths
• 8950 acres of farmland and fresh water
• Two pubs and 26 homes were flooded in Snape during the 2013 storm surge.
