We are doing this run in order to raise money for The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust which is a charity close to our family. In September 2016, just months after undergoing surgery to repair his cleft lip, two year old Ethan was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, a very rare form of eye cancer. Within a few days Ethan had to have his eye removed. He had no symptoms and had actually been going blind in the affected eye for over a year! Following surgery he went through 4 cycles of chemotherapy but still kept smiling!
