Story
On 18th September 2016 our beautiful Mama passed away after first being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002. Watching someone you love more than anything fight so hard, with such grace, is truly one of the most frightening but inspiring things to see.
It is now more than ever I understand the amazing work Wessex Cancer Trust do to help alleviate the impact of cancer on both patients and their families.
Wessex Cancer Trust helps and supports anyone affected by cancer regardless of age, gender or type of cancer. They help deal with the emotional impact of cancer, and offer complementary therapies that aim to improve well-being, help with pain management and increase self-confidence. Not only that but they have a kick-ass choir which Mama loved going to.
Thankfully there are many clever scientists working tirelessly to find a cure, but until that day comes let’s do what we can to make the lives of those living with cancer a little bit easier, so they can focus on getting better.
You can’t lose a fight when you have already won.
