10 years ago Charlotte’s Mum and my Mama were diagnosed with breast cancer which they both fought with such incredible strength.  In January last year my beautiful and brave Mama discovered the cancer had returned and once again she is fighting it with such courage and grace.  It is now more than ever I understand the amazing work Wessex Cancer Trust do help alleviate the impact of cancer on both patients and their families.

 

Both Charlotte and I have seen friends lose parents, not just to breast cancer but to other forms of cancer as well. Wessex Cancer Trust has provided many of these people with things such as complimentary therapy services, counselling and even setting up a choir! We have seen first-hand how much of a difference these things make.

 

Also, if you are kind enough to donate, please feel free to add a song to your message that you think will help me get through the 26.2 miles. I am going to add them to my playlist so that on the day, every time one comes on, it will remind me of you and why I am doing this. In short, it will keep me going!!!
