I am so excited to be running the London Marathon on October 2, 2022!  After running the event virtually in Oct 2020, I am very much looking forward to being in-person in London! This will be my 7th marathon and 4th (of 6) Abbott World Major Marathons! Even more exciting is that I will get to experience the race while supporting a great organization called Whizz-Kidz.  I'm inspired by the work they do to enable disabled children and young people to lead fun, active and independent lives.

Your generous donation will help transform the lives of disabled children and young people across the UK, supporting them to become confident and independent young adults.  No amount is too small-- I appreciate any support you are able to give!

Did you know? In addition to vital mobility equipment, Whizz-Kidz also assists young people to :

- Gain new skills through work placements with a range of employers.

- Gain more independence through learning how to be more in control of their wheelchair, with the Wheelchair Skills Training scheme.

- Build up confidence and knowledge with our Skillz for Life training – delivered online and at Ambassador Clubs.

- Have short breaks with Camp Whizz-Kidz, our three day residential camp, which includes life skills sessions, wheelchair skills training and an awards ceremony to recognise the achievements the young people have made over the three-day camp.

- Develop vital leadership, decision-making and teamwork skills through the Young Leaderz programme.
