Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running to raise money for the amazing Charity SCOPE, which helps disabled adults in lots of different ways.  This charity is very important to me as they have been there for my little sister Jenny, who has cerebral palsy.  Jenny is in a wheelchair, but loves using her trike to exercise (cute picture attached below!).  She communicates using a combination of signing, speech machine input, her symbol book and using her voice ('banana' is a great one- she giggles every time, apparently I need to watch Despicable Me 2).  Jenny is the most loving, excitable and generous little sister anyone could ask for and she definitely keeps me in line.  

Jenny has just moved into her 'forever' home, which is run by SCOPE.  Without this charity and the work they do for disabled adults, Jenny, and others like her, would not have the opportunity to lead such independent lives and enjoy life to the full.

I appreciate any amount you are willing to give to this worthwhile charity- my goal is to raise £500 and to top this off my very charitable employer Deloitte will contribute £250 as a matched donation. 

I will also be baking copious amounts of cakes/biscuits/other treats (I am up for suggestions) to raise more money so anyone who donates on here will have first pick of tasty treats. :-)

As a personal goal I am trying to improve my half marathon personal best from 1h55 to a sub 1h45 time.  I realise this is a difficult task and I will be doing lots of sprint and hill training over the next 10 weeks (I'll try not to complain too much!)
