Thankyou for taking the time to visit my page!
PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) is a terminal neurological condition. A protein in the brain accumulates into neurofibrillary tangles, causing damage and loss of nerve cells. The degenerative illness presents with symptoms including loss of balance, movement, speech and loss of the ability to eat and drink.
In April 2020 I will be running the London Marathon for the PSP Association! Sadly, my great aunt passed away because of PSP. I hadn't heard of this disease before her diagnosis, so would like to take this opportunity to raise awareness as well as raising money for PSPA. I will be running/walking and/or crawling across that finish line to raise money in memory of Teresa!
PSPA is currently the only charity supporting people with this condition in the UK, and with 4,000 people diagnosed with this disease, it is of great importance for us to learn more about its cause and treatment.
Any donations will be absolutely wonderful, and I really appreciate your support for such an important cause!
PSPA is a national charity providing support and information to people living with PSP and CBD, while funding research into treatments and ultimately a cure. They aim to improve the lives of everyone affected by PSP and CBD and rely entirely on voluntary donations.
