On Sunday 27th November my life changed forever. My dad was rushed to hospital in the middle of the night where he was diagnosed with a torn aorta and valve. He underwent 12 hours of emergency surgery to save his life. The surgery was technically a success but during the surgery my dad had a stroke which he could not beat. My dad passed away on Friday 2nd December surrounded by the people that loved him the most in this world. Since my dad's passing my life has not been the same. It has given me a push that I needed along with my family and friends to live our lives to the fullest and enjoy every single moment. I have had a complete life change where I have quit my job in fashion and am now a personal trainer. The reason I have changed my career is because I want to help people, I want to help make people feel good about themselves and confident in their own skins, everyone deserves to feel amazing. The British heart foundation is a charity that lays extremely close to my heart as without their support the amazing surgeons, doctors and nurses that helped my dad would not have been able to give him a chance of living. The idea of being able to raise money for such an incredible cause and to help prevent people going through what myself and my family have gone through would be the proudest moment of my life.
