Story
Having been a keen marathon day supporter for a while it has always been a goal of mine to be on the other side of the fence doing the 26.2 miles myself!
I was extremely lucky to get a place this year but more importantly to be running for a charity so close to my heart. I lost my maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother both to strokes, as have friends that have equally suffered the effects of strokes to people close to them.
The Stroke Association works to prevent stroke, and to support everyone touched by stroke, fund research, and campaign for the rights of stroke survivors of all ages.
I'd be so grateful for any donations made to this well deserving charity!
The marathon is on the 28th April so please come and cheer me on the day - hopefully whilst enjoying the sunshine with a beer in hand!
Thank you in advance for your donations.
