Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Yes, that's right, I really am running the London Marathon....

In 1999, former England rugby player, first-class cricketer, BBC sports commentator and personal friend, Alastair Hignell was diagnosed with MS.  His response? He feels "blessed" to have experienced the world from such radically different perspectives. Having spent the last 12 years attending various fundraising events for Higgy, this reaction doesn't surprise me. What always does, is the vast extent of the support, respect and love he inspires.

As a member of Higgy’s Heroes I am raising money for The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre, a national charity of which Higgy is patron.

The MSRC is a proactive and innovative charity committed to supporting anyone affected by MS through access to unbiased information and advice. Their approach is to encourage individuals to make choices that are appropriate to their daily lives, empowering them to maximise their potential. The MSRC strongly believes that "Life is for Living". It provides, for example, a 24 hour, freephone Telephone Counselling Service and an advisory service with access to MS Specialist Advisors and a Welfare Rights and Benefits Advisor.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks,
