Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On February 10th 2018 life as my family knew it changed forever. The sudden loss of my father sent us all into an immediate numb state of grief. My Mum had lost her life long best friend and husband. And my siblings and I had not only lost my dad, but for some time we lost my mum too. It took insane amounts of love and support to help her through the still on going process or grief.

I am forever grateful to cruse bereavement for helping my mum. After months of ongoing counselling there was no doubt in my mind that we would soon be getting mum as we knew her back. Strong willed, determined, selfless, kind and strong are just a few of the words that come to my mind when I look back at my mums journey thus far. (As we all still have a way to go!)

… it is because of this I have decided to join my mum in abseiling from the roof of a church in Oxford. One things for sure, if we feel like chickening out on the day we will most likely hear my dads voice repeating his mantra “Wheelers aren’t quitters!”

It would mean the world to my family and I if you could spare some cash to help the charity , that helped us. <3
