Living on the Isles of Scilly we are pretty cut off from the rest of the world, but we kind of like it like that, it's why we live here.  But in a medical emergency, it's not quite so straight forward.  That is when we rely on The Cornwall Air Ambulance, a vital life line for the islands.

I want to raise money  for this charity for the fantastic work they do, not just for us on the islands but for the amazing work they do all over the county.  I have lost count the amount of times my family have had to use the service (I have a big family).  My dad had to be flown away at least twice before he passed away.  The crew were absolutely amazing with him, it was so reassuring knowing he was in such capable hands.  It has been 10 years since Dad passed away now but I miss him terribly.  The Air Ambulance must have made 100's of trips to Scilly in this time, undoubtedly saving countless lives.
