I have been given the amazing opportunity to travel to Burkina Faso in West Africa in January 2013! I will be travelling with the company International Citizen Service(ICS) to volunteer for 3 months, living in the capital city Ouagadougou ( pronounced wagga do goo). 

Currently working with Notts County Football Club and South Notts College, we have been training to coach the young children of Burkina Faso, football and other educational activities. 

We will also be working with some disabled citizens in Ouagadougou. 

During the months we will also be working with the women teaching them about HIV aids. 

We have been asked by ICS to raise £800, to help keep the company running in the future months and years. To help raise this money myself and the 10+ students also working with Notts County Football club will be taking part in numerous activities such as bag packing in supermarkets, bucket collections at football matches and also raffles.
