In mid September I will be heading off to Zimbabwe for 12 weeks with a Charity called Restless Development. This charity facilitates young people to create the change they want to see in their society, from sexual health, to livelihoods and employment. Restless empower young people to continue to live a changed life after the volunteers have left, therefore the process continues, and the communities can begin to thrive without external guidance. 

Zimbabwe is a country with a falling economy, leaving many in poverty, with high HIV rates, and gender inequality. I hope in my time in Zimbabwe I can make even a small difference. Before leaving, however, I need to raise at least £800 for the charity, so they can continue their amazing work!
