Samaritans are available 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress, despair or suicidal thoughts. Emotions are such a powerful thing that can cause severe pain and become highly overwhelming. Samaritans are here to help people with any issues concerning emotional health. They are a non-judgemental, confidential, open way to explore feelings of distress and despair including feelings of suicide. Samaritans can help people explore their options, understand problems better, or just show you that someone is always prepared to care. They can turn someone's life around just after one phone call.

Samaritans wouldn't be as it is without the dedicated volunteers that donate their time. I will be completing my skydive with my best mate who is a volunteer at Samaritans Plymouth from this I know how much hard work goes into the charity by dedicated volunteers that run it 24/7. 

I have always wanted to do a skydive - what better reason is there to do one now, for such an amazing charity.. It will be completely terrifying and exciting but well worth it!!!
