Story
For the past two years Amber has loved doing the 10K route at the Great Manchester Run. She has loved it so much that this year we are going to step it up and take on the Half Marathon. We will be joined once again by Amber's brother, Peter and my mate and Educating Greater Manchester star, Gary Chambers, we all hate running so this will be a really big challenge for all four of us. We are NOT looking forward to pushing Amber round the 13.1 miles of majestic Manchester's pot holed roads but we'll do it because Rett Syndrome is simply not acceptable.
Research has shown that Rett Syndrome is reversible. Clinical trials are underway to treat symptoms and we are hoping that gene therapy will provide the cure that would make Rett Syndrome the first neurological disorder to be reversed. We need your help to make it happen so please support our efforts on May 20th and help give all the people suffering with the horrible symptoms Rett Syndrome brings the chance of a much better future, a Rett free future!
Thank you for your support.
