WE MADE IT!!!!   Team Skinny Hounds finished in 4hr 34min 36 seconds.   Thanks to all those that sponsored us and if you haven't  sponsored us yet there is still time!

Hi all!

Thank you for visiting our  fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

On Sunday 27th May 2007 the "Skinny Hounds" will be taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Hairy Haggis Team Relay.  We are Lea Cowan, Amanda Royall, Linda Stewart and Michelle O'Hara.    Between us we will  run the Edinburgh Marathon to raise much needed funds that will enable Greyhound Awareness League (Scotland) to rescue and re-home Greyhounds and Lurchers.

Simon, pictured above, badly broke his leg during a race.  Without GAL he may have been put to sleep.   GAL paid for his leg to be repaired and arranged for a foster home so he could get all the TLC he needed whilst waiting for a forever home.

GAL relies on public donations and does not receive any help from the government or racing industry.  Without GAL many hounds wouldn't know kindness.

Please sponsor us and Help Greyhounds  win the race for life!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Greyhound Awareness League will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
