I will be taking part in the Great North Run again this year and am raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society which will donated in my Aunty Mavis's name. I have just returned from spending some time with Aunty Mavis and my family on her 80th birthday and have made more special memories to cherish, as well as getting the hugest smile and hug from Aunty Mavis (it made my day).

I also have a very special friend whose Mam also was affected by Alzheimers and so this is for her too.

I appreciate that lots of our family are taking part in the Run this year and all raising funds through sponsorship and so my total is kept low. The company I work for will match any donations up to £300.00 and so it is a realistic sum to achieve.
