Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page, any help you can give is really appreciated.

Alzheimer’s steals away the people you love, right before your eyes.

My Gran was just 73 when she was diagnosed. She’s forever etched in my memory as great fun, loving, curious about the world, well-travelled, colourful (I had the only gran at my school with a boyfriend!) and nobody’s fool.

Jean was 80 when she died. To the end she remained the smiling and warm woman she’d been all her life,  her latter days spent happily confused.

Gran taught me; “...you’ll never go far wrong with a guid Scot’s tongue in yer heid..,” and she was right.

So I’m asking you to please support the work of  Alzheimer’s Research UK
