Since 1885, thanks to the public's support, we continue to provide welfare and wellbeing assistance tailored to our Armed Forces community. We know and understand the unique demands of service life, whether in the UK or overseas, and in times of need, we help to enable the Forces family to thrive.

Story

On the 4th September 2022 we are abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth to raise money for the Serving Community at Colchester Garrison.  This will be a massive challenge as I have a huge fear of heights and Jamie isn't keen either.  However we are all willing to do this to support all those at Colchester Garrison.

We all come to this with different stories, myself and Jamie were helped by SSAFA when we lost Jamies dad to suicide in 2016 and now I am an ambassodor for the Serving Community.  Chell is a SSAFA caseworker who goes above and beyond for all clients

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. Last year our teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 79,500 people in need, from Second World War veterans to young men and women who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families.
