In February 2022 I donated one of my kidneys to someone very special to me  I’m happy to say their life has been transformed but it could never have happened without the amazing research and support provided by Kidney Research UK  

Not everyone with chronic kidney disease is lucky enough to get a new kidney and so more research is needed  

On 22nd April me and my one kidney, are going to run 43 miles it’s the furthest distance I’ve ever run and it will be an amazing and tough challenge.
