It never occurred to me then to add good health to my magic list - good old ordinary health that we all take so much for granted, but is oh so fickle.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><br></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">But wishing just isn't enough. &nbsp;I would like to do something. &nbsp;Something BIG and CHALLENGING and FUN. &nbsp;So I am joining my oldest school friend Sarah Vant on a gruelling trek across deserts to Petra in Jordan in October 2011, raising funds for Marie Curie.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><br></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Now, 50 years on, this fair fat and fifty fairy (and oh not forgetting the other big Fs, fantastically un-FIT!) has set herself a challenge: getting fit and raising &pound;2,000 for cancer care. &nbsp;I would really appreciate your help in sponsoring me. &nbsp;Please don't be shy - a donation of &pound;1 is as important to me as a donation of &pound;100, as every penny matters.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><br></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Thank &nbsp;you in advance for your generosity and support (and don't forget to tick the Gift Aid box if you're a taxpayer!)</span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Amanda</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
