So, in our wisdom we signed up to the BUPA Great North Run earlier this year.  We thought 'hey, we've got plenty of time to get fit...'  Needless to say, we procrastinated far too long and left the training a tad late! But nevertheless the race is on and we're running like we've never run before... no literally, we've never run before!

In just over 2 weeks we, and a few of our equally nutty friends, will be running over 13 miles from Newcastle to South Shields. We have decided to run for the Meningitis Trust.  As some of you will know, a few friends over the years have been affected by Meningitis and we would love to contribute as much as we can to help them continue and expand the incredible work they do.

All donations are greatly appreciated... it all adds up! Don't worry... we promise to upload the embarrassingly red-faced photos when(!) we cross the finish line... and I didn't get nicknamed 'cherryhead' for no good reason!
