Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

This page has been created in memory of my beautiful 15 year old niece Jenna Carrington who passed away on the 3rd May 2021 from an aggressive brain tumour.

Jenna was the life and soul of our family. Even when battling a grade 4 brain tumour Jenna was positive, smiling, laughing, affectionate and put everyone else before herself.

We are approaching the 1 year anniversary of Jenna’s passing. In Jenna’s memory I want to raise money for a charity close to our hearts …. Brain Tumour Research

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this!

Brain Tumour Research are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.
