In 2000 I completed the Great North Run  - my first half marathon. Twelve years on - 3 children later and having being advised not to run post children with a dodgy knee - I am embarking on my second half marathon. Whilst I would like to think I am  'faster, stronger and higher' (older being the higher) - I am never-the-less going for a quicker time and hoping to run it under 2 hours. 

I am thrilled to be able to run for such an amazing charity that makes such a difference with it's pioneering and live-saving research to beat cancer.
