I fell over today just towards the end of my 6 mile run. I now have a very sore scuffed up knee. Hope it will heal up by next week, and very grateful that it wasn't any worse...

I am overwhelmed by all your donations! Thank you all so much. Xx Training is going well. I did my second 10 miles on Monday, which felt much easier than the first. Did 7 miles this morning and it felt like a doddle!

A few months ago, I found out that my Auntie Helen in Australia was suffering from Breast Cancer.
Being so far away from her and the rest of her family, I felt utterly helpless and wanted to find a way to do something in her name.

Sadly Helen died recently. She was truly the kindest, most generous and loving person that I have had the pleasure to know.
My heart goes out to my Uncle Karl and their sons, Quentin and Damien.

I am running this half marathon for Helen, and all the other people who have ever been affected by Breast Cancer.
I will be thinking of you every step I take.

 

I still can't quite believe that I am going to attempt to run 13 miles on Sunday October 9th 2011!
So far, I have managed to reach 9 miles, so I hope that I can find the strength to keep going for another 4.

Please help me to reach my target. Any amount will be gratefuuly received.
I am also planning a few fundraising events that I will keep you posted on.
