Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I lost a very dear friend who was like a second Nan to me in 2007, then my Grandad followed in 2008. I was only 9 at the time and didn't really understand. Then in February 2012 my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, was treated but never given the all clear. Thats when I decided I wanted to do something for Cancer Research, I wanted to shave my head but my Mum said no. November 2013 she was diagnosed again but this time with Cervical Cancer stage 3. We knew she wouldn't survive this time and I wanted to do the event again but this time my secondary school said no. The cancer spread to at least 5 places and she passed away on the 31st of January 2015. Now there is nothing stopping me from finally doing this charity event and raising as much money as possible so less people are affected and some day we can beat cancer all together.
