Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I had my first seizure at 3 minutes old and continued with epilepsy my whole life. School years were the most difficult for me due to lack of awareness caused various types of name calling and other issues towards me.

Now that I have reached menopausal age my seizures have become much more frequent and I have multiple scars across my head up to 13cm long due to the various locations the seizures have occurred.

Thank you taking the time to read my story, my mission is to realise more awareness about Epilepsy and how it can impact peoples lives who suffer from it.

Please take a moment to feel the embarrassment I feel when it happens in public environments, the scars to my body from when I am injured during the fall from a seizure, the way people look at you if they see you having a seizure, the humiliation I, like many other people with Epilepsy feel once you recover consciousness.
