Windsor Half Marathon 2016 · 25 September 2016 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hello, and thanks for stopping by our justgiving page!

Neither of us have ever been particularly keen runners but recently we entered the infamously hilly Windsor Half Marathon on a bit of a whim. We are now training hard, battling against our laziness and hereditary tight hamstrings.

We are hoping that by running the Windsor Half Marathon, we can also raise some money for a good cause. Since our Dad was diagnosed with Parkinsons' disease this is a cause close to our hearts. We have therefore decided to fundraise for Parkinsons UK - a charity that supports people affected by the disease and funds research to find a cure.

Thanks for visiting and reading our JustGiving page. Any donations will be hugely appreciated and help to support a great cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
