Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Childhood should be a time of joy and excitement, finding your way in the world. But for many children it is a time of pain, suffering and neglect, which has lasting consequences throughout their adult life. This is unacceptable. The NSPCC is working to end cruelty to children and to give every child the best possible start in life.
To support the work that they do, I have somehow been talked into taking on a year-long activity challenge. First stage: get fit and learn how to exercise! The second stage involves taking part in the Richmond Park 10K run on 30th March 2013. During the summer I will then be cycling approximately 100 miles (the exact plan is to be determined), and then in the autumn there will be a 1000m swim!
This is absolutely not my forte, but my suffering will be absolutely nothing compared to that of the children who will be helped by the money raised. So please support me and help the NSPCC with their incredible work.
