The Challenge
In the hope of raising £20,000 for The Neurology Department of the Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital, 12 friends will be attempting to cycle from Rome to Evesham in just over two weeks.
This daunting challenge is being undertaken as a mark of gratitude to Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital, for their huge efforts in trying to save the life of Matt Brace who tragically passed away from a head injury in May 2011.
The cycle will begin in Rome on 30 March and by travelling 100 miles a day, stopping only for rest and subsistence, the team hopes to return to Evesham on 15 April 2012 for a HUGE Welcome Home Party!!!
