All Saints Church is reliant upon its congregation and members of the wider local community to support its ministry and mission. 

There has been a Church building at the heart of the village of Alrewas since around 830 AD with the current stone-built Norman church erected in the 1100's and modified over many hundreds of years.

Currently the Church is facing a very specific and significant need to replace the lead lining over the nave ( central) roof section as soon as this is achievable. This is necessary to prevent an increasing risk of water leaking into the ancient roof wood timbers which would cause very significant structural damage to the building and much greater cost to repair. The cost of carrying out the necessary work has been assessed at £150,000.

In the knowledge that this work would become necessary, the Church has already been able to raise and set aside one third of the cost ahead of launching a formal appeal to raise the balance of £100,000 via donations and grants. We are hoping to achieve this target in sufficient time to enable the work to commence in the summer of 2024.
