Story

Thank You to all of you who sponsored me and helped to raise a creditable donation to the Wiseman Trust.

I managed to complete the Royal Parks Half Marathon and to romp home in 1:58:28 DESTROYING the two hour barrier (not "shaved it by a gnat's wotsit" as someone has suggested). Actually, to be fair, "romping" is slightly overstating it - I am not really 1:58-fit, so sheer bloody-mindedness allowed me to stagger over the line having cried for most of the last ¼ mile - not very dignified and I am paying the price this morning !

So, thank you very, very much to you for your support - I am now back on the beers (having, apart from Saturday night, abstained since last Wednesday) so hopefully will catch up soon.
