Story
In November 2016, I will be taking part in the Women V Cancer cycling challenge from Vietnam to Cambodia in aid of three cancer charities alongside a group of women of all ages and walks of life. All funds raised for the challenge will be divided equally between -
Breast Cancer Care - The only UK-wide support charity that helps thousands of people dealing with breast cancer every day. Donations support the specialist nurses, local services and emotional support networks to ensure those battling cancer always have someone to turn to.
Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust - A charity dedicated to helping women affected by cervical cancer or cervical abnormalities and their families. Support is offered online and face to face 24 hours a day, as well as helping raise awareness about how cervical cancer can be prevented and campaigning for the best treatment and care.
Ovarian Cancer Action - Dedicated to preventing women dying from ovarian cancer, donations made to Ovarian Cancer Trust go to fundraising world-class scientific research leading to innovative treatment and progressive solutions.
The 450 km ride will start in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City on the 26th November and finish at the world heritage site of Angkor Wat in Cambodia on 2nd December. The cycle will be physically demanding, on some days cycling up to 100 km on uneven ground and in extreme heat.
If this is something you would like to support me in, please donate to this cause, I highly appreciate all donations, big or small.
