Story
On Saturday 14th September I will be doing a bungee jump off the Titan Crane in Clydebank, Glasgow at 12 noon. This is the first time I have ever done anything remotely like this and although I am nervous I feel that after what I have been through in the last 18 months, anything is possible!! I will be jumping 164ft from the crane's cantilever and hurtling at 50mph towards the River Clyde but apparently the views are amazing!
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October 2012. I then went through two operations, 6 chemotherapy treatments and lastly 6 weeks of radiotherapy. I completed most of my treatment in June 2013 however I still take Tamoxifen daily and visit Clinic P in the New Victoria Hospital every 3rd Friday for Herceptin. I took time to recuperate during this summer and I am now so pleased to report that I am living a 'normal' life, back at work and feeling great.
This charity have been a fantastic support for me throughout my journey and I am very proud to have been chosen as a model for their charity fashion show in September.
Please donate anything at all to a very good cause.
