I will be part of an amazing group of women tackling the 5th Women V Cancer challenge. I've now completed 1000 miles from Lands End to John o Groats with 1 friend, no support vehicles, no back up, just the two of us on open roads.  Also just completed a 590k cycle from Greenwich in London to Paris to Dieppe, as well as more than 6 Sportives of distances up to 103miles. Training has been grueling, please help any way you can xMany families have been struck down with Cancer, and whilst I am able I want to help fund research towards a cure for this disease. My father, my aunt, my uncle, my father-in-law and very dear friends have lost their fight. Children too deserve a chance to live cancer free.  Please help me raise funds for this very worthy cause.   It's been very difficult to raise all the money but it is for Cancer. I've held car boots, shaved all my hair off, held a disco, raffle and silent auction,  with prizes being donated by many local businesses and items for the car boot by many friends, and people I didn't even know. During this time I also raised money for 5 small local groups amd whilst it wasn't a large amount it's hopefully gone,a little way in helping them too.  Now as my mom deals with the ravages of dementia, I am planning my next fundraising event to help raise awareness, and help find a way to slow down the disease.  It breaks my heart to see a shadow of the lady that is my mom.
