Story

I'm going to jail!

... All in a good cause.

On 22 October I will be locked in the dungeons of Lancaster Castle and will not be released until I raise the necessary bail money!

It's all in aid of CancerCare.

Every year, CancerCare helps over 1500 people cope with the overwhelming changes that can come with a cancer diagnosis. They work with people affected by cancer and give them a place to talk, therapies to help them manage the physical effects of cancer treatment and the support to deal with anxiety and emotional distress about diagnosis or recurrence.

You may have heard that 1 in 3 of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime, but here’s a statistic you might not know… Current figures show that 25 people are diagnosed with cancer in North Lancashire and South Lakeland each day. CancerCare exists to support all these people, plus their families, carers and anyone bereaved by cancer.
