Story
On the 1st of June 2013 a group of 12 of us will:
1) Abseil 130ft from the top of the Dundee University Tower Building
2) Cycle 50 miles
3) River Raft 5 Miles
4) Run 8 miles
Each of us have our own personal reasons for participating in this madness, but we all share a common goal; to take that leap of faith and in the process hopefully inspire others to do things they never thought possible. By completing this challenge we hope to raise some much needed funds for the Tayside Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, Peddie Street, Dundee. This centre offers an invaluable service and at least 2 of our team are personally affected by this cruel illness in one way or another.
Our challenge is so called after Keith's sister, Sarah Anderson Stewart, who has had cause to use the Therapy Centre and whose positive attitude and zest for life is a huge source of inspiration. Each year the centre must raise £130,000 just to remain open. The centre exists entirely on charitable donations and therefore every penny counts.
